Kilgrews Cycles has enjoyed a long history in Cork City.
First established over 100 years ago many a Corkonian will remember getting their
first bike in Kilgrews, and many a Mother or Father will remember getting their
first pram there. First opened for business in 19?? Kilgrews was a Bicycle and ???
shop, and as with many of the businesses of the day it did not specialise in just one thing,
back in those days if a business wanted to survive it had to provide a larger range of
services to the public(in general specialisation is a relatively modern thing i'm sure
you will agree) and Kilgrews was no different.
